HP 17-cn0002sf against competition
The HP 17-cn0002sf printer is currently displayed in . format Promote on Amazon It offers an interesting description/price for its category as it is one of the cheapest in terms of equipping it with a processor with such a powerful graphics solution, such as high storage capacity and provisioning with Windows.
HP 17-cn0002sf chassis, connectors, and display
It has an elegant and discreet look with its slim and light silver design.
The built-in connectivity of this versatile Ultrabook is good, consisting of a single USB-C port, a handy HDMI video output to easily connect this computer to a monitor or TV, for example, Wi-Fi ax wireless modules (Newer and more efficient than Wi-Fi ac) and Bluetooth 5.2 for remote connections and communications, and its Ethernet and audio ports not to mention two USB 3.0 ports (compatible with USB 2.0) ensuring transfers that are up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 if you connect USB 3.0 devices to it.
We appreciate our ability to backlit the keyboard buttons’ bubble gum shape, which is very practical to distinguish them better in limited ambient light.
Thanks to IPS technology, the screen has large vertical and horizontal viewing angles. As a bonus, its anti-reflective treatment makes it more readable than a glossy board in a bright environment (eg outdoors) and less strain on the eyes in the long run. It also lends itself well to viewing videos and HD content in general due to its 16:9 format and Full HD resolution.
HP 17-cn0002sf performance and autonomy
HP 17-cn0002sf is a thin and light full-size laptop for everyday general purpose use.
It takes advantage of SSD storage that clearly enhances the responsiveness of this stylish silver Ultrabook on a daily basis compared to a simple hard drive.
In fact, an SSD is much faster than a hard disk drive but also less power consuming, more powerful, and quieter.
The result, thanks to an SSD, is much faster start/stop, process and launch applications than a simple hard drive, and faster access to online game cards.
While there’s no dedicated graphics card on board, you can actually see photos and videos but also play mediocre titles, thanks to the Iris Xe graphics part (which we tested).
Integrated directly into the processor, the Iris Xe is a low-power i5-1135G7 Intel Tiger Lake quad-core processor paired with 8GB of RAM to provide good overall performance that is able to suit many users.
Of course if a 512GB SSD turns out to be too narrow, you can count on external storage. Preferring a USB 3.0 / USB-C device is an interesting option for fast transfers.
As for the autonomy, you can count on about 7 hours of battery in light use of this computer that is easy to control its weight and accuracy in transporting a distance of 17 inches. However, this large format is not positioned as one of the most easily transportable, but it is especially convenient for mainly stable use (eg at home).
