Jean-Aimee Touban revealed the list of the French women’s team in preparation for the World Cup. 22 players plus Pauline Astaire and Dominic Malunga have been called up as training partners.

In their first major competition at the helm of the Blues, Jean-Amy Tauban and his crew invited an expanded group of 22 players with the aim of conducting a team review ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Australia. If Maren Johannes, Eliana Robert and Gabe Williams miss the start of preparations on August 9 at INSEP, they will join the group shortly afterwards.

First time in A for Koné and Salaun, Astier and Malonga as training partners

In the case of the current CEOs, Assitan Koné and Janelle Salaun are called up for the first time on the France A team while Endy Miyem, Valériane Vukosavljevic and Alix Duchet are not on this list as previously announced, just as Diandra Tchatchouang, who did so retired.

Finally, Jean-Aimé Toupane wanted Pauline Astier – currently at EuroBasket U20 – and Dominique Malonga – also with the Bleuettes but at U17 – as training partners throughout the Bleues prep.
